and industrial advancement in the Haut-Katanga Province and
beyond. We are proud to showcase the following projects
KushonaSewing Centre
- Manufacturing PPE for Kico
- 6,000 uniforms produced annually
- Manufacture of curtains and tablecloths for Kico guest houses
- 45 employees/owners
- 96% female ownership
Egg Production
- 720,000 eggs per year (24,000 trays)
- 10 employees/owners
- 60% female ownership

Fish Farm

Gardening project:

- Paving stones are produced from recycled plastic waste from the Kico waste disposal site by a local youth company. Reducing Kico's waste footprint.
Beautifying Kipushi:
- APDI-youth programme cleaning drains, markets, general town cleaning, rubbish removal, painting and tree planting.
